Matteo Pisu

Hello, my name is Matteo, I am a native Sardinian and I’ve lived most of my life in this beautiful island, except for a couple of years in London and 6 months in Australia and France.

I have a Master’s degree in foreign languages (English and French) but at the university I’ve also studied Sardinian language, Sardinian history and traditions. I’ve also attended many courses of Sardinian Archeology, as in our island (with more than 7000 nuraghi, 2400 domus de janas and 800 tomb of giants) we have the biggest number of prehistoric monuments of all the European and Mediterranean area.

Sardinia sometimes is compared to a continent, for its variety of landscapes, cultures, languages and traditions. I would be very happy to present you my island in all its diversities and originality. We Sardinians love our island, we consider it as a very beautiful, special and fascinating island and we are ready to show you around and demonstrate that our love is fully justified.

On request, I can organize excursions, besides with my minibus 8 pax, with buses of 50 seats, boats, yachts and helicopters. Excursions on the occasion of special events: religious, sporting and local festivals.
