What is the purpose of GuideYourTrip?

Unlike other platforms, we allow direct contact between travelers and guides, with no registration or fees required.
GuideYourTrip serves as a global hub for private local guides offering customized guided tours around the world.

Who are the guides listed on the site?
All tour guides featured on GuideYourTrip have registered through an online form and agreed to our terms of service.
They can operate in their city, region, or any part of the world, offering local guided experiences.

Is the service free for travelers?
Yes, GuideYourTrip is 100% free for both travelers and guides.
All payments for tours are handled directly between the guide and the traveler — we do not charge any commission.

Are the guides certified?
When registering, each guide must indicate whether they hold an official certification.
This information is visible on their profile. If available, we also verify the official guide ID they provide.

Can I contact a guide directly?
Absolutely. Direct contact with local guides is a core feature of our platform.
You can reach out using the contact details on their personal page (email, phone, website, Facebook, etc.).

Are the guide details up to date?
We ask guides to inform us of any changes in their contact info or availability.
However, we are unable to verify each profile on a daily basis.

What happens in case of a dispute with a guide?
As stated in Article 3 of our General Terms of Use for Tourists, GuideYourTrip is not contractually involved in the tours.
We are not responsible for any part of the tour experience. However, we encourage travelers to report any issues so we can assist and remove the guide from the platform if necessary.

How can I leave a review about a guide?
You can share your feedback by leaving a review via our Google Review.
Your reviews help other travelers make informed decisions.

I can’t find a guide for my destination. What should I do?
We are constantly expanding our global network of professional local guides.
If no guide is currently listed for your destination, feel free to contact us — we’ll try to help you find one.

How can I register as a tour guide?
You can join our platform by filling out the registration form.
Present your services to travelers from around the world looking for authentic guided tours.

Is the site free for guides?
Yes, GuideYourTrip is completely free for tour guides. No commissions, no hidden fees.
Only a one-time, unlimited-duration subscription may be required to improve your visibility. All tour payments are handled directly between you and the traveler.

How can I edit my personal page?
To update your profile or contact information, send us an email at contact@guideyourtrip.com.
We will process your request within 48 hours.

What if I have a dispute with a traveler?
As outlined in Article 4 of our General conditions of use Guides, GuideYourTrip is not contractually involved in your tours.
While we are not liable for any disagreements, you may contact us to report the issue and we will assess the situation accordingly.
