My name is Stavros. I was born and raised in Heraklion, Crete, where I live and work as an official tourist guide. I am archeologist with a degree in History and Archaeology from the University of Crete and a licensed Tour-Guide by the Ministry of Tourism. History, archeology, art, small and big hidden stories, mystery, monuments and artefacts, tradition and travels are my biggest passion.
I have also worked as a tour leader, archaeologist, journalist, TV and radio producer, newspaper and magazine editor. As an archaeologist I have taken part in various excavations on the island of Crete. I am a novel writer with four books published by Libanis publications. I speak English, Italian and Spanish.
