About Me
My name is Goulbanou Garcia. I am a licensed professional tour guide in France and I live in the heart of the Loire Valley, near Blois.
My main area of expertise is the Loire Valley castles, the history of the French monarchy and the Renaissance. I offer private tours as well as multi-day programs in the region, in Russian and French.

Chambord, Chenonceau, Amboise, Blois, Cheverny, Chaumont-sur-Loire, Azay-le-Rideau, Villandry, Langeais, Ussé and Valençay are just some of the castles I introduce to my visitors.
For me, however, the Loire Valley is about much more than its famous royal residences.
The atmosphere here is always warm, peaceful, authentic and elegant. It is a land steeped in history and rich in traditions, a land of kings and queens, artists and poets, winegrowers and gardeners.
I enjoy showing my visitors not only the majestic Loire of its great castles, but also its old towns and picturesque villages, the peaceful banks of the river, its vineyards, family-run estates and cool cellars carved into the white tuffeau stone.
You can stroll through the streets of Amboise and Blois, stop in the medieval village of Montrésor or in beautiful Candes-Saint-Martin, admire majestic Chambord and romantic Chenonceau, then discover the wines of Vouvray, Cheverny, Cour-Cheverny or Touraine.
I create tailor-made itineraries, from a visit to a single castle to several days filled with discoveries throughout the Loire Valley. Depending on your interests, I can include wine tastings, local cheeses, small villages and places that do not always feature in traditional tourist routes.
I would like my visitors to return from their journey not only with beautiful photographs of the castles, but also with the feeling that they have discovered the soul of the Loire: its history, its beauty, its peaceful rhythm and its distinctly French art of living.
