The Vatican

  • Bus : Line 64 from Termini Station, Ospedale Generale, Santo Spirito stops
    Line 62 connects key spots in the city. Repubblica, Place d’Espagne, Piazza Venezia and Argentina..
    This bus stops very close to the Via della Conciliazione.
    Line 40 Express bus. It covers the Termini-Piazza Venezia – Argentina – Piazza Pia route (near the Vatican)
    Line 81 takes you through the centre of the city. Connects the Vatican with dozens of points of interest,
    terminating in Piazza Risorgimento, near the entrance to the Vatican museums.
  • Metro : The Vatican is situated between two stops on Metro Line A
    Cipro and Ottaviano. The first is closest to the museums and the second is closest to St Peter’s Square.
  • On foot : from Piazza Venezia, take Via del Plebiscito, then Corso Vittorio Emanuele.
    then take impressive Via della Conciliazione leading to St Peter’s Square.
