Hello dear people!

Welcome to Croatia and Zagreb. Dobrodošli!

My name is Maja (Maia), and I am a licensed guide for Zagreb and the county of Zagreb, Plitvice Lakes (Lika County), and north Croatia – Varaždin and Zagorje (Kumrovec) county.

I am in tourism from 2006; first working in a small incoming travel agency creating and organizing torus as well as guiding them; and since 2015, I am a local guide for Zagreb and central Croatia, occasionally doing tours across the country. During almost 20 years in tourism, I have been lucky to meet the people from all over the globe, and I can say that I feel most alive and at home while working as a guide.

More than 30 years ago, Zagreb became my home, and each tour that I take with guests – makes me fall in love with it again. Love to share legends, history, and contemporary life of Zagreb and Croatia (way of living, mentalities, as well as little bit of the economy and changes that happened over the years).

I am always trying to be practical and listen to your wishes and preference and provide you with experience and information that you need, wanting you to feel welcomed and relaxed while exploring Zagreb and my country.
