Patrick Marguerit

My name is Patrick Marguerit.

My father was an upholsterer… so between workshops, art dealers, restorers and passionate people, my education was done with the pleasure of the eyes and listening to experts.

I have a degree in art history and I am a qualified guide and lecturer. I am very happy to share my passion for the decorative arts and crafts.

Also trained in architecture and urban planning, I make you discover Paris and its surroundings through squares, bridges, private mansions, hidden streets, churches and unsuspected corners…

Specialized in decorative arts, I can lead you to the discovery of the collections with an approach on the crafts, their techniques and their prestigious owners.
Architecture and gardens are also an opportunity to approach a fascinating art of living rich in styles. Gardens attached to a residence (Luxembourg, Tuileries, Versailles, Trianon, Chantilly, Saint-Cloud…) or public (Buttes Chaumont, Monceau, Bercy…)

During temporary exhibitions (according to the current events), I accompany you for documented visits close to the works.
