About Me

My name is Michael Wilcox, and together with my wife Bridget, we started a tour operator business in 2020.

We are a “Proudly South African” company, recognized by the National Department of Tourism.
Additionally, we are a Level 1 Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) company, as classified by the National Department of Trade and Industry.

As a year-round tour operator, we cater to a region ideal for both summer and winter travel.

Discover the Western Cape – One of the World’s Most Diverse Holiday Destinations

The Western Cape is an extraordinary travel destination, renowned for its diversity and natural beauty.
Its malaria-free environment makes it perfect for sightseeing, excursions, guided tours, and adventure activities.
The region enjoys a Mediterranean climate, offering pleasant weather throughout the year.

  • Summer (September to April): Warm and sunny, with temperatures ranging from 20 to 35°C.
  • Winter (May to August): Cooler, with average temperatures between 10 and 20°C. The region experiences moderate winter rainfall, with approximately 35 rainy days in total, while the rest of the season remains sunny with little to no wind.

World-Class Infrastructure & International Recognition

Cape Town boasts world-class infrastructure, with Cape Town International Airport consistently ranked as Africa’s best airport.
The City of Cape Town is frequently recognized by global travel and tourism organizations, particularly after successfully hosting the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Cape Town is also Africa’s leading conference destination, thanks to its state-of-the-art International Convention Center.

A Wealth of Natural and Cultural Attractions

The region offers an abundance of attractions, including:
– White-sand Blue Flag beaches
– UNESCO World Heritage Sites
– National parks & nature reserves
– World-class dive sites
– Ancient rock art
– Scenic 4×4 overland routes
– Breathtaking coastal landscapes
– Majestic mountains, rivers, and diverse wildlife

One of our greatest natural treasures is the Cape Floral Kingdom, the most biodiverse of the world’s five floral kingdoms.

A Premier Destination for Wine & Spirits Enthusiasts

The Western Cape is home to some of the world’s most prestigious and award-winning wine estates, contributing significantly to the global export market.
From white, blush, red, sparkling, and fortified wines to world-class whisky and brandy, the region has something for every palate.

Beyond its famous beer brands, South Africa is also known for its exceptional craft and boutique ales, artisanal gin, and a variety of premium spirits.

Luxury Resorts & Affordable Travel

Travelers can choose from a variety of luxury resorts, spa retreats, and exclusive lodges, making it a perfect destination for both relaxation and adventure.

Additionally, the South African Rand (ZAR) offers an exceptionally favorable exchange rate against the British Pound, Euro, and US Dollar, making it a fantastic value-for-money destination.
