I’m Mohamed Mané, painter, draughtsman and agropastoralist. I’ve always had a deep passion for nature and human contact. Drawing on my experience in the tourism sector in Saly Portudal, one of Senegal’s most beautiful seaside resorts, I decided to merge my two loves-art and nature-to offer travelers a unique activity. My aim is to help you reconnect with nature while creating unforgettable memories, both visual and sensory.

Activity concept

I invite you to take part in glass painting workshops, a technique that combines tradition and modernity, where each participant can give free rein to his or her creativity, whether through abstract or concrete works. But the experience doesn’t stop there. At the same time, I offer gardening workshops where travelers can learn how to grow aromatic and ornamental plants using certified seeds and pellets. These hands-in-the-dirt moments allow them to observe the fruits of their labor as the days go by.

To complete these days of activities, we visit a waterfront restaurant in the heart of Saly, called “Village la Nature”. This emblematic and authentic place offers total immersion in the natural beauty of the region. We’ll also explore several local farms to discover Senegal’s agricultural riches, offering a hands-on glimpse into the country’s farming traditions.

Cultural immersion

To enhance this experience, I organize bush evenings, where you’ll have the opportunity to share a meal with an African family. This is the ideal opportunity to discover the local cuisine, rich in flavors and traditions, and to plunge into the heart of our culture. These moments of sharing are essential for total immersion, enabling you to better understand and appreciate the customs and traditions of our region.

Additional activities

Your stay will also be punctuated by unforgettable excursions. You can explore the magnificent surrounding mangroves, discover the spectacular landscape of Popenguine, visit the historic region of Saint-Louis or take a cart ride through the Senegalese countryside. Each activity is designed to enrich your stay and offer you an authentic and memorable experience.
