The Gastown neighborhood is a must-see for any visitor to Vancouver. This historic area is known for its cobblestone streets, cast iron street lamps and red brick buildings. The Gastown Steam Clock is an iconic attraction in the area.

Finally, be sure to check out Vancouver’s beaches. English Bay is a popular beach for swimmers and water sports enthusiasts. Kitsilano Beach is also a favorite for swimmers, with its many activities and white sand. If you prefer a quieter environment, Jericho Beach is often less crowded.
Joffre Lakes Park is one of the most beautiful natural areas in the country. With its crystal clear lakes, majestic mountains and hiking trails.
Located about 35 km east of Pemberton, the park has three main lakes, each with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the Cherry River Valley. The upper lakes are smaller and more secluded, while the lower lake is larger and more popular. You can also enjoy the Waterfall of the Gargoyles , with its series of waterfalls nearby.
This park is famous for its crystal blue lakes, formed from the glacial waters of the surrounding mountains. The three main lakes, Upper Joffre Lake, Middle Joffre Lake and Lower Joffre Lake, are connected by a 10 km hiking trail, which offers panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, dense forests and dazzling waterfalls.
The hike begins at the parking area and follows a logging road to Upper Joffre Lake, which is the largest of the three lakes. To get there you’ll have to make a somewhat difficult 400-meter climb, but it’s worth it for the breathtaking views that await you. Middle Joffre Lake is the second lake on the hike, located about a 30-minute walk from Upper Joffre Lake. The lake is beautiful with its clear turquoise waters and serene atmosphere. It is a great place for a lunch break, picnic or to enjoy the view of Matier Mountain, an iconic mountain in the area. Lower Joffre Lake is the last stop on the hike. Although smaller than the first two lakes, it is just as spectacular. The hike to this lake is fairly easy and gentle through meadows and wooded areas.
If you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, the Okanagan Valley is the perfect place to recharge your batteries. You can explore the area’s charming towns and villages, sample local wines, hike in the mountains, and much more. The Okanagan’s main city is Kelowna, a lively and welcoming city with a wide variety of activities to offer.
